Pacific View Optometry was founded with a simple goal: to provide excellent eye care while treating every patient as an individual. Dr. Tim Bradshaw brings extensive experience in primary eye care and medical eye care, with an emphasis on careful diagnosis, thoughtful treatment, and knowing when collaboration with an ophthalmologist is needed.

Clinical Experience

Dr. Bradshaw earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Perioperative Management at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, GA, training alongside cataract, retina, glaucoma, and corneal surgeons. He later practiced alongside ophthalmologists across multiple specialties, providing comprehensive eye care, postoperative care, urgent eye care, LASIK consultations, and contact lens services. His experience also includes managing advanced intraocular lens technology, including Light Adjustable IOLs.

This experience has shaped Dr. Bradshaw's approach to optometry: providing thorough medical and vision care while recognizing when a patient would benefit from evaluation or treatment by an ophthalmologist. He has particular interest in dry eye disease and remains committed to incorporating new technologies and treatment options into patient care.

Coming Home to San Diego

A San Diego native, Dr. Bradshaw spent years away pursuing his education and clinical experience in Utah, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia. Along the way, he gained experience caring for patients with a broad range of eye conditions and working closely with ophthalmologists and surgical teams.

Now, he is bringing that experience home. Outside the office, Dr. Bradshaw enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, following the Padres, hiking, spending time at the beach, and exploring all that San Diego has to offer. After years away, returning home is especially meaningful, and Pacific View Optometry provides an opportunity to care for the community where his own story began.
